He was sound for the entire summer and pretty steady for about a year and a half. I just gave him another Osphos shot a couple weeks ago.

But you are right about the risks. I had a younger horse with pedal osteitis in one foot, and the vets recommended doing regional limb perfusion of Tildren instead. It’s a related drug given IV.
