I have no problem launching Steam and getting into big picture, but when I go to launch the game, the screen briefly transitions like it is going to launch and then goes right back into the launch screen. The game doesn't ... WebThere is no way to turn on FPS counter in Big Picture Mode unfortunately. The only thing you can do is to use FPS counter from different source. If youre using Nvidia GPU and have GeForce Experience installed, you can turn on FPS counter for all games, even those that are launched outside Steam. I think AMD also have this but I might be wrong. 3

Last I used it, Big Picture didn't support anything above 1080p by default. You need to edit config files and use launch arguments to force it to go higher. That may explain why it looks blurry to you.
